We had another great time showing kids around at the Wheatland Ag expo. We spent the day in Wheatland helping out wherever we were needed and learned more about agricultural stuff and what its like to watch over third through fifth graders for the day. Fast forward a couple of weeks to our annual lock-in. What a blast! Talk about having sixteen junior highers all in one building running on sugar. We had yet another great lock-in where we bonded with the younger kids and hung out with two 2015-2016 state officers. We started the night with some campfire songs from FFA leadership camp. We than had our awesome introduction of our 2015-2016 officer team and went through opening ceremony. Following that we told the younger officers the goals that we set for the year and the expectation for each kid. The state officers than had a great SAE/CDE workshop for the chapter. We played games and gained more of an understanding on CDEs. Than we went and ate pizza and hung out with everyone. While the younger kids watch a movie the officers had their chapter evaluation. We than played a game of volleyball. After the game everyone just hung out and relaxed than we watched a movie or played Xbox. After the movie ended the junior highers and some high schoolers were still running crazy. We all headed home around 6:00am. All and all it was a great night with tons of fun and laughter. We look forward to the plans we have for this year and hope to see you along the way.

Starting off to a great year for Glendo FFA yet again. Starting the summer we helped at a Wheatland ranchers branding. Where we thankfully didn't stab any of the helpers or each other. Following the branding our president, Sydnie Eller and Mr. Teten represented us in Washington, D.C for an FFA conference. Later on we had three officers go to the mountains of Lander for a great week at camp. During camp they participated in public speaking workshops, learned leadership skills and made new friends and reacquainted with old ones. We ended the summer with county fair where some of our officers showed and sold their market animals. The chapter had yet another great float in the town parade ending the fair week with a boom. Starting off the school year we had our first officer lock-in where we made goals, planned fundraisers, and bonded over pizza and movies. We look forward to another great year and look forward to seeing you all there.

As we come to the end of yet another amazing year, we take a look back at all we have experienced and accomplished in the past twelve months. From attending FFA camp and county and state fair, to building Glendo Designs further, traveling to Rapid City Stock Show and State FFA back to announcing our new officers. Our teams that went to state had a great time and did very well showing their skills. The 2014-2015 Glendo FFA chapter was proud to reach all ten of the goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year. The 2015-2016 officer team has so much planned out for the coming year and we hope you join us for the ride!

Looking back at what we have done so far in school, its been fun! We just had the opportunity again this year to help out at Ag Expo in Wheatland. Many of us went, including our involved junior highers. During the day the junior highers and some Wheatland FFA members helped guide young third and fourth graders around each booth. Three of our officers including, Sydnie Eller, Evan Wilhelm, and I were in the cow pot. Where we taught the students facts about it and about FFA. It was a blast to see what the kids already knew and how excited they were to learn so much about Agriculture. All in all it was a fun time!
Running into ineligibility for sports and FFA activities, the FFA officers and adviser decided to start a tutoring session every Monday from 3:25-5:00pm. During this time our math and history teachers have dedicated their time to stay after school along with our adviser and help students who need their assistance. Our P.T.O(parent teacher organization) has helped out and donated snacks and waters to assist the students with nutritional snacks.
